Alex Wegman

Dutch famous electronic drum player, music producer, drum set teacher. TED Speaker, two-time winner of Holland's Got Talent. LEMON drum for home practice and stage performance, In 2008 Alex developed bone cancer and had to have his left arm amputated. After the surgery, the rock-music lover began learning to play the drums with one arm, and 15 months later recorded a series of videos and uploaded them to the Internet, where they were viewed more than a million times in just a few months. Observant observers noticed a tattoo on his dancing arm that read: "Never give up." In Europe, he became a veritable electronic drum artist and was invited to perform all over Europe. He donated all the performance income to "Dutch Cancer Foundation". In 2016, he participated in the Dutch Adult Show, where his exquisite skills and touching deeds moved the audience including all the judges. His spirit of never giving up spread all over the world.

He graduated from the Department of Music of Shanghai Normal University and studied percussion with Wang Wanjin from Shanghai Normal University and Yang Ruwen from the Conservatory of Music. Currently, he is a permanent member of the Shanghai Percussion Association. He once went to Spain to study jazz performance, and served as principal drummer of Shanghai Jazz Orchestra, Jazz drummer of Shanghai Symphony Orchestra and guest teacher of Shenyang Conservatory of Music. One of the authors of the textbook for the national Electronic drum Test, one of the author of the textbook for the assessment of percussion professional skills of the Ministry of Culture

He graduated from the Xita Department of Shanghai Conservatory of Music. In 2002, she won the second place of the original music of Uni-President Ice Tea. In the same year, she performed on the same stage with Qi Qin. Later, she joined the Light Music Group to participate in Teresa Teng's concert tour around the world. In 2005, she participated in Culture Show of Shanghai Foreign Language Channel and served as sound director. In the same year, she was on the same stage with Vivian Hsu. She was invited to perform on the Pepsi National Band Tour in 2008. In 2012, he participated in the recording of channel v concert and later joined the live accompaniment band of the Voice of China. In 2016, he was invited to participate in the midem Music Festival in Cannes, France, Shanghai International jazz Festival, and the National Style Celebration in Beijing Bird's Nest in 2017. Appointed director of IPEA International Percussion Association. In 2018, I was hired to be a judge of the first Jazz drum Competition and band Competition in Hunan Province. Member of Shanghai Musicians Association, member of Shanghai Percussion Association, standing director of Wuxi Percussion Association. In 2014, I won the first prize of Shanghai Group Art Competition "Encouraging the Flying"; in 2015, I won the Gold Medal of Marching Drum of Professional group in the National Percussion Association Competition; in 2017, I won the first prize of Northwest Suite in the National Chinese Orchestra Competition; from 2017 to 2019, I guided my students to win the first prize of group combination in the Percussion Association for three consecutive years. In 2019, he won the gold medal of Shanghai Blast Competition. Led Shanghai Foreign Language School, Shanghai Experimental Primary School, Shanghai University and other school orchestras to participate in various competitions.
